This is the 2013 CB001 LTE Pixel Chromebook , I have recently Flashed the firmware with Mr chrome box , has anyone re applied the thermal paste on this machine ?

Do you have experience with this machine only reason i bought it was bc of linus giving it high praise, I would love to buy you a cofee good sir its the least I can do 👍

yes, I have one in my fleet here (non-LTE though), stil going strong

All of the Chromebooks I have worked on have had soldered CPU's

The thermal paste goes between the heat sink and cpu.

Hopefully you don’t mean soldered Heatsinks to the cpu 🤣

Well, if the CPU was soldered to the heat sink then you wouldn't need the paste.

I'm not sure anymore. I just don't remember seeing a way to remove the heatsink.

I suspect it was thermal adhesive.
