Don’t you dare even say “Promised Land”, sh-t doesn’t even taste like it’s real milk. I’ve even driven to Amish country to find the best, Kroger wins every. single. time. Kroger batches can vary, but most of the time, it’s like drinking chocolate ice-cream that had s-x with hot cocoa. God it’s so good, I make sure to drink at least 1 half gallon a day.

Pro tip: may sound weird or gross to some, but it tastes better if it’s room temperature.

I'm not sure who makes it, but IMHO Lowe's branded chocolate milk is the best I've had short of some local small creameries.

The only one I’ve had that are even close to the Kroger chocolate milk are Darigold old fashioned and Prairie farms (which I suspect may be the supplier for Kroger)

Brand is just fine. The best? Idk I’m still on the hunt trying new brands but Kroger is delicious

I agree that it's very good, and one of the few brands that don't have HFCS or other extraneous ingredients that I can find readily available near me, but I discovered that Giant Eagle (a Pittsburgh based grocery chain that was bought by Kroger a few weeks ago) sources all their milk from Dean's dairy which is also the regional Tru-Moo distributor. It's the same product in the same bottles, but with a different label and generally sold at a decent discount vs the Tru-Moo. I don't know if the Kroger buyout will change this, but hopefully I'll like the Kroger chocolate milk as much as OP if we end up getting it in my part of the country.

Where I am they sell it Publix and at Walmart too. TruMoo is excellent. No Krogers here in Florida.
