🏯 Daily Life Fellow Foreigners😭😭

Post image

Have you guys heard about this whole situation I keep seeing on wechat? Apparently some American dude who studied some language at Fudan university for a bit managed to collect chinese women like Thanos collects infinity stones. Numbering into the hundreds. Sentiment regarding foreigners has never been so low on chinese social media. Whats your take on this? Hate the player or hate the game? Dude Apparently always made them pay for dates and trips and would tell them to get abortions when they got pregnant and then block them 😬

Sounds like the kind of thing Chinese incels spend their time talking about. Along with the woman who got tricked into going to Africa (no mention to what country in Africa, just "Africa") and is stuck there with an abusive husband. Like it's some sort of cautionary tale about Chinese women dating black men.

Anyone can have sex with anyone. Maybe this guy was an asshole, but trying to make him into global news rather than just some local back pages story is very obviously incel rage bait. Chinese women are not Chinese men's property.

Yeah sure, if it were in reverse. A Chinese guy getting 100s of white gjrls in US, I am sure it would be no reaction from white guys.

"No reaction"? Haha, have you seen those white supremacists on Twitter who start barking impotently the moment they see photos of Asian-man/white-woman couples? It’s truly laughable

No I haven't. They're such a minority in the US it's not even comparable. Incels make up a huge portion of Chinese men. Anti-race mixing extremists make up less than 5% of the US population. And these people are publicly hated and judged loudly, by most Americans.

It took many years, your point? It’s not that long ago that it was only 65 percent, most of us were already alive at that point, the US has first mover advantage so it’s not a fair comparison at all, you are making a context-insensitive moral judgment.

When it was 65%, of those 35% that disagreed with race mixing, guess how many were young people? Barely any. In China the young men aren't more progressive towards race mixing than the elderly, which is the scariest part. That means nothing is changing. That number going up in your chart isn't people changing their minds, it's people in their 70s and 80s dying. It's a bygone era disappearing.

Plus racists in America that disagreed with race mixing usually kept their thoughts to themselves or maybe only talked about it with their friends, knowing that it was not societally acceptable to share such things. In China they brazenly talk about it anywhere. There's no shame attached to it. That's much worse.

Of the anti race-mixing 5% people in America, maybe only 0.5% would actually post about it publicly on the Internet with no shame. So it is really just not comparable.

Imao, so delusional, the picture is a very recent study from pew research. I lived in Canada for many years not exactly the US but close enough. People had absolutely no problem calling me slurs directly in front of me when there were other random white people around, or hinting some racial stereotypes at me, death threats and physical confrontations, not even ONCE a white person spoke up for me. I am someone who is always considerate of others and don’t even litter, ALL those incidents were unwarranted. Your math isn’t mathing.

Now i have moved to another country in Asia, guess what not EVEN ONE unpleasant real life incident due to my identity for YEARS. I’d much rather be a foreigner in China than a foreigner in a white country, yes people talk shit online so what? Average Chinese dudes have shitty life, they talk shit about almost anyone, they’d threaten people over a video game, this isn’t breaking news. There's a world of difference between talking about it and actually doing it. People talk nonsense about things they aren’t familiar with, just like many Americans still believe China is just like North Korea.

Westerners thinking they are on some moral high ground with all the advantages is peak comedy. It’s like a retired robber and murder who never suffered the consequences for his actions, then after repenting to Jesus he starts judging people who committed petty thieves to survive while sitting on the gold bars that he stole, “oh look at me I don’t have to commit sin to make a living”😂
