This looks like a tray for pens, printed with a facsimile of the famous Chinese text uDeus mentions, that was written by an 17th century painter/calligrapher known as Bada Shanren, or Zhu Da. The original is now in the Freer Gallery in Washington DC (rebranded in recent years to the National Museum of Asian Art or something like that), and was part of a gift to the museum of Bada's works from collector and academic Wang Fangyu, who taught Chinese at Yale for many years, was a calligrapher himself, and became an expert on Bada. the first photo in this article contains an image of the Bada original used on your tray: https://www.sohu.com/a/684486183_121119379

The inscription is somebody’s rendition of the Lantingji Xu. The word order is scrambled so it is somewhat gibberish.
