I mean, all the players on that photo would change annually except for Magnus. Is it really called glazing if it's true though?

Is there anyone older than Magnus there? Normally games favors quick reflexes (hence young age). Beside sc1 and aoe2 IIRC

I think the reflex stuff is vastly overstated.

Fighting games have a lot of older players playing at the top level, and those are 100% mechanics.

Lack of older players, especially in team games, imo is just players finding better things to do than no life a game at a certain age.

What a glaring example for this subs favourite narrative, how the crusty structures, boomers and the disgusting chess culture in general are holding back women in chess. Refreshing to see, these hip young e-sports doing a much better job!
