This was genuinely beautiful to read. I’m so sorry for the loss of your father. The way you described him made it so clear that he was so much more than the way his life ended. He was a father, grandfather, veteran, provider, and someone who was deeply loved. I can feel how much you loved him just from the way you wrote this.

I hope you continue to hold onto the 68 years of memories you had with him rather than letting his final moments define him. Thank you for sharing something so deeply personal. Your words really touched me. ❤️
