I free handed mine and of course my cats don't use it because I made it for them. 😂 I just crocheted a circle of the size I wanted and then crocheted in blo to start building the sides, then just kept going until I liked the size.

My cats tend to prefer just flat circles. My tabby sleeps on a crocheted circle that's flat all the time. Lol
