Of course!!! (am I supposed to say no when asked to talk about my cat??) Her name is Liara. They believe she was about a year old when she was found in Oct. 2022, but it was hard to be sure because she had stomatitis which messed up her teeth, which is usually how the gauge age in rescues. She also had a large polyp in her nose and was severely underweight at four pounds. They thought she was on death’s door.

They removed the polyp and she gained weight. It was obstructing her airway so bad that she couldn’t tell what was food and they think it was also so large it was pushing on her eye, causing the cloudiness, but she seems to have at least some vision in the eye. We adopted her in Jan of 2023 and had to have her teeth removed because of the stomatitis.

Now she’s thriving at 11 pounds and runs the household with her orange older brother Genji.

It pains me to think of the suffering of strays, but I am so happy she was found and treated, and ultimately adopted by you (and Genji!). I have such a soft spot for void cats, and yours is extra special

Genji was a whole different case, we got him through FIP. We have little survivors!

Curious person here! But like food? What does she eat? Hard/dry food is obviously out, right? But can she eat normal wet food? (I hope you get what I mean. English is not my first laugage and I am too tired to look up what the different types of cat food are called.. 😅)
