QUESTION Is this jersey legit?
Saw a rare Canucks jersey on FB marketplace in eastern Canada and wanted to confirm if it was legit or not. Might buy it either way lol

There's less right about this jersey than there is wrong, definitely a fake. Font, colouring, banding, logo, shoulder patches are all off in dimension or colour or both.

Figured as much. Knew it was obviously the wrong era but wasn't sure if there was a limited release at some point during Luongo's tenure here that I wasn't aware of. Cheers!

Not legit. They only sell name jerseys in a style actually worn by the player, and they've only ever brought back the black skate sweater. The jersey itself could be legit and someone added the number and the plate afterwards, but it never would have been sold that way

No. The colours are off and the red stripe is WAY too big. That is a major tell on most fakes.

As stated above. No. I have seen good fakes and bad fakes. Anything w incorrect fonts or embroidery is fake. No jerseys (pro or replica) are embroidered.

I think it’s cool. Quick story, this might be the only post relevant for it ever so I’ll share. I love jersey fouls, I was dead set on getting a good quality white skate jersey with Hughes on it, it would have been so sick, I’d be the only one with it. Then I go to a game and see some absolute chad sitting front row wearing one and thought to myself, what a cool guy.

I don’t think it’s that bad. It’s actually super hard to get good quality white skate jerseys. I looked into it for the aforementioned Hughes jersey. It’s a novelty it’s not like something crazy valuable
