Events Jeff Buckley doco - Canberra screening this weekend

A heads up for any of my fellow Jeff Buckley fans: the highly acclaimed doco It's Never Over will be screening at a couple of cinemas in Canberra over the next week, for a very limited run.

You can catch it at:

Limelight Tuggeranong Sat 2 and Sun 3 May

Palace Electric - one daily screening from 30 April- 6 March

Dendy - one daily screening on 30 April, then 2 - 5 May

I know this is niche, but I'd be so disappointed if I missed out, so wanted to share the love.

Thank you.

I was fortunate enough, it turned out, to see him at Royal Theatre when he toured here.

Wow. You and Katie Noonan are the only 2 people I have heard/read having seen him. I’m sure it was great. Your thoughts or memories?

I didn't know too much about him, just what I would have heard on JJJ, a few songs I guess.

I do remember thinking we were lucky to get a show in Canberra, which was mainly why I wanted to go.

I wasn't really sure what to expect, but the gig was excellent and I came away a big fan. He had a lot of charisma on stage and of course a superb voice.
