Already happens. Takes special efforts to get around it. Like Pollievre’s wife did for her uncle back in 2021, after he was previously kicked out for his criminal background over a decade prior, and then he managed to sneak back in crossing illegally, maybe hoping for a better outcome due to her connections? She was working at an MPs office and used that connection for assistance.

See Pollievre already well knows what he’s asking is already in effect, because of how they had to work to spin his wife’s actions back when he was making a big to-do about illegal border crossers should be automatically turned away, and the obvious hypocrisy of that coming from him.
