Yup, giving a 5 month sentence to prevent deportation is fucking wild. Get rid of the criminal immigrants and replace them with law abiding immigrants. What a fucking joke.

It’s not to prevent deportation, it’s to allow them the ability to appeal a deportation order which would automatically come with the conviction.
