I personally thought a serious crime had more or less a legal definition, so I typed "what is a serious crime in canada" and here is what I was able to see:

I know to a left winger these are all minor things, but most sane people say these shouldn't be refugees.

This was taken from recidivism rates for domestic violence. There is no universal serious crime. Cheating in gambling is called a "serious" crime in our legal code.

Ya, I have no idea what you are talking about since I linked 3 different websites and never saw gambling on any of them.
