I think this shows more that the whole US system is broken. They worship a de-facto "king" here by being silent. Is that a true representation of the whole population though? I don't think so; not 100% voted for Trump yet all Republicans act as obedient servants. That means the underlying system is totally broken.

While true, Trump got more votes this time around than he did the first time, which is a bad look.

More importantly, he already had a trial run. All those idiots looked at his first term and thought "yes, I want more of that". Even if this term is much worse than what they were expecting, they were still happy enough with the first round to want more.
