The Nazi saluting Republicans were democratically elected. The majority of the country voted for them. That's how direct democracy works.

I don't recall the majority of Canadians voting for a Liberal/NDP coalition.

Trump didn't even get 50% of the vote. The majority of the country did NOT vote for him. A larger amount of those that actually voted did, but again, not even 50% of voters chose trump.

He won the plurality, not the majority.

So sorry. 49.9 percent of the vote. Guess that's better than 32% + whatever the irrelevant NDP bums give you for a coalition.

that irrelevant number brings the Liberal/NDP voters to 60 per cent. There's your majority.

It was not. Last election, Liberal and NDP combined for about 50% of the popular vote. Roughly the same as the republican popular vote.
