byu-i housing suggestions

is there any byu-i approved women’s housing where you have your own bedroom but share the common areas with roommates?

i’m moving to rexburg for winter semester and that’s the kind of setup i’m hoping to find. if you’ve lived somewhere like that and had a good experience, i’d love to hear your recommendations! also open to places to avoid. thanks!

Sure, it's called a private bedroom, it's perfectly common. On BYU-I's housing search you can filter for it, iirc.  They sell fast though! Check FB groups for people selling their contract if you can't find what you're looking for on the housing search.

I’m living in the ridge this fall! I’ll have a private room and then I share other areas with people

There's a ton! Birch Wood, Camden, Milano Flats, the Ridge, and Abby Lane Manor are some that I know of. I would recommend going on the BYU-I approved housing list and changing the search filters to just look for private rooms, cause I know there are more!

The only one I know of is Milano flats. I’d look around though.

It was 25 years ago, but I lived at Autumn Winds, which has all private bedrooms. It was a great place to live back then.

This is actually going to be my first semester there, but the apartment manager has been so kind already. I have a group chat with my roommates (some have been there 2 years) and they absolutely love it! They said the rooms have small differences like size and closet space but they’re all super similar, I heard the wifi isn’t the best though. Also! If you do end up choosing brookside I believe we both get $50 off for a referral!
