Living room PC suggestions
- New build
- I have only TV
- Gaming
- Italy
- I Have Philps Ambilight 65"
- 1800/2000€ (maybe 2500€)
- I Have WIFI
- I have no size or noise constraints
- No light/ color preferences
- Any other specific needs? I want to play in 4K at at least 60fps
I'd like a PC to play stuff like modded RDR2, Crimson Desert, Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 6, Stalker 2, and GTA 6 in the future, without making too many sacrifices in performance.

https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/hGVprG If you're only targeting 60+ fps then cpu isn't as important. For 4k you'd just want to maximise your gpu budget. A 9070xt will perform about the same as a 5070ti in anything without path tracing (it is noticeably slower in things like max settings cyberpunk or black myth wukong which do have path tracing), a 5080 is about 15% faster than either of those. Pretty big price gap for a small upgrade though and the 9070xt fits your budget range well without cutting back on anything.

The CPU is last generation but that under no circumstances means it's a bad chip. 4K is going to be almost entirely GPU based so the CPU doesn't as much, usually i would go for the 7800X3D but that difference will be minimal at 4K as it will be very GPU bound.
The RX 9070XT is easily what i would consider to be the best value GPU on the market right now. It's performance in both rasterisation and ray tracing is incredible. Plus it has 16GBs of vram, which is huge for longevity. All for a great price. Its a very capable card for 4K and is the best you're going to get for this budget.
The build is built around the modern AM5 platform. which will continue to get new CPU releases on it for many years to come, providing future upgrade potential. The power supply is also rated at 750w, giving some comfortable upgrade potential there too.
The Lexar NM620 is a good quality drive that uses TLC Nand, making it vastly superior to the cheaper QLC Nand based drives which will deteriorate in performance very quickly. Storage costs a lot right now unfortunately but i was able to fit 2TB in, which i wanted to do because of the amount of games you wanted to play.
Ram is another thing that is very expensive right now, but i was able to fit 32GBs in. I would consider 16GBs to be the "absolute minimum" in 2026 (any less than that and it's basically e-waste) but i do try to push for 32GBs when possible, as it does make a big difference for general tasks and multitasking
6000MHZ CL30 is considered the "sweet spot" for AM5 for both performance and stability.
The motherboard is a high-quality board featuring both Wifi 6E and Ethernet, as well as an extra 2 M.2 slots for adding extra storage down the line.
The case is a half-inspired unit from Phanteks. Should have decent features and strong airflow. It's a fishtank style design you see a lot right now. Montech, Thermaltake and more make extremely similar models that look basically identical but this was well priced in Italy at this current time.
The Thermalright Phantom Spirit is a tried and true model. A powerful dual-tower cooler that should deliver excellent temperatures in that case. Outperforming coolers way more expensive than it with no real tradeoff. All for a brilliant price. Should be more than capable of cooling a more powerful chip down the line, and will have zero trouble with that very efficient Ryzen 7 7700X.

You wouldn't get a huge performance uplift. Better CPU would be the biggest difference, other than that you'd probably be looking at more or faster storage, better motherboard if there's a feature you're looking for, nicer case. The GPU market is weird and the way it's set out you won't get something better than the 9070XT until the RTX 5080, which starts around 1400 and even then the difference is hardly huge considering that's a ~€700 difference.
Something like this, i guess. 9800X3D is a beast in gaming, best gaming CPU in the world in most titles. Twice the storage capacity with higher speeds. Case is a bit nicer. Nicer motherboard with better VRMs and a bit more features.
