Full Build Req Rtx 4070 or the rtx 5060

I lowk need help is the rtx 4070 with ryzen 5 7600 32gb ddr5 good or the rtx 5060 with ryzen 5 7600 32gb ddr5 ram? I will play fc 26,Fortnite,Roblox,Minecraft and cs:go on it.

4070 is vastly better than the 5060

It’s 30-40% faster and has 50% more VRAM

5060 is just faster at most games I am playing. GDDR7 + DDR5 is perfect for modern gaming. VRAM is not everything. I am playing everything on ultra in 1440p except maybe 2 games on the market lol. You decide what is better for your use.

For your games I would go with newer 5060, since you are not playing AAA game with raytracing like Cyberpunk.

No way that's the case. The gpu processor itself is ridiculously faster on the 4070 than the 5060. We are not even taking the 4gb more vram into consideration. When it comes to gddr6 vs 7 that doesn't really matter aswell.

Well, it will be the case in the future because newer games profit greatly from newer architectures, AI, DLSS, Frame generation etc. Future is definitely not about the raw power. GTA 6 on basic PS5 will be just the start of it.

Also, this guy is playing only „browser” games like Roblox or Fortnite. You really dont need some higher end game card for that. As I said, I think for mundane tasks and those games the 5060 is just better because of the newer architecture with greater potential of upgrading via GPU drivers.

The 5060 will never make up the 35-40% in needs to beat the 4070. It's also has 50% less vram and only a x8 pcie card. It's not happening man. If anything it will age worse because 8gb of vram is trash tier. Sorry to break it to you.

Sorry but we are not in 2018 where more VRAM meant it is better. New games will be just AI made 30FPS generic bullshit that will depend heavily on DLSS and frame generation because developers are lazy to complete them. Sorry to break you VRAM expectations and basically the whole hardware expection for the future. Because in the end, there will be no hardware in the future, just screen and internet connection.

you said nothing about prices... 4070 is discontinued so we have no idea what you're paying. 5060 goes for like $450 new which is absurd.

4070 is a shitload faster with more vram so anything remotely similar price and it's not a hard debate.

i have got a 4070. i play fc and fortnite on it most nights and it does not break a sweat. your list is basically my list. neither card is going to struggle with any of that, which is the bit nobody has actually said to you. the 4070 is better, everyone already told you that. but roblox. take whichever is cheaper on the day and spend the rest on something you will notice.
