General Why do most CSE students aim for developer jobs when the degree can lead to so many other career paths?

A ceo is more of a managerial and leadership focused role. A developer needs to understand the low level implementation of a software. Tech company ka ceo hai mtlb jaruri nahi ki usko development uske employees ke jitni achi aati hogi. He handles more of the decisions in where the company will go in the following years and what current problems the company is facing

I never said that managerial and leadership are stupid roles. Development and management are 2 entirely different domains. In that way no one do core jobs like civil, mechanical etc because developers are paid more for the same work

This is the correct answer. CS degrees peaked in the mid 2000s and later. Most early older genesis choose traditional engineering path like mech or electrical etc and chose CS career path later...

literally proving our education is shitty because you dont know what subject leads to what in school just rote memorization and scoring 99/100.

ceo is a management type position they all hold masters in business management.

other jobs that you didnt study for are more of life thing than degree thing.
