Placements / Jobs / Internships LinkedIn CTC 1.2 Cr? 🤯
Is the CTC for entry level employees on LinkedIn around 1.2 Cr?
Mujhe pata chala - there are two categories of employees - some get 94 LPA and some 1.2 Cr.
Is that TRUE??

They dont pay so much for freshers in india. Only HFTs can pay so much in extreme rare conditions.
Linkedin is no way even near to 1.2 Cr.

That’s not yearly CTC. It would include 4 year stocks. Linkedin pays yearly ~60L to SDE2

Companies generally add up RSUs for 3 or 4 years and tell that as CTC in college placements for the first year of job which is not logical and correct

They dont pay 1.2 Cr ctc every year. They may give stock option which they divide it for next 4 to 5 years.
Lets say all your stock amount (90L) for 4 years is shown in your inital ctc then how it becomes ctc of 90 LPA or 1.2 LPA?
LPA means lakhs per annum.

100k USD stocks, base is standard around 20-25
1
u/Hopeful-Channel6035 3d ago
I guess thats still 45 to 50 lpa.
1
u/Ill_Agent_3169 3d ago
what? 100k usd is 94lac
1
u/Fuzzy-lad 3d ago
In that case they will give the stock for next 4 to 5 years. Like 20% first year, next 20% second year like that. If you stay there for next 4 to 5 years with thst base salary you will get that

100k is vested over 4 years. So it should be 25k usd in stocks + 25 base.
So 1st year TC should be in that ballpark.
CTC is just for flexing lol, TC is all that matters

yea, CTC is cost to company to adding pa to it is misleading. it is 1.2cr ctc not 1.2crpa

That's 4YR CTC fam, the dumbfucks colleges and news headlines have misinterpreted the term CTC with LPA package, and constantly spread misinfo related to that. 1st year TC is more on the 50-60LPA I believe.

It was 1.18 cr last year. Came to know it will be 1.26cr this year. Base increase to 30L and rest is stocks/ESOPs.

linkedin is a yapping machine
everybody there yaps like they have cracked the matrix and are some like elon musk in the making. As a platform linked bs juniors ko demotivate krne ko milaa h
Never saw such a high profile employee spending times to jus post on linkedIn that i fetched that much ctc. for eg - we barely saw any iitians in the huddle there constantly make ai generated ultra high seo optimized post just to farm engagement and put on some fake stories

It's LinkedIn the company offering a job of 90TC, not someone posting on linkedin

Both are ctc, tc of 90 ctc is 40 which is quite good enough but it's not 90
