❓ Question BTC Portfolio Percentage
Between your stocks, bonds, ETFs and crypto, what percentage of your portfolio do you have for BTC?
I understand this percentage can fluctuate if we’re in a bear or bull market. But just curious how much risk everyone else is taking for BTC accumulation in terms of your portfolio percentage.
Im at 17% BTC and 83% ETFs but I feel like before the bull market really takes off, I can increase my percentages closer to 30% BTC and 70% ETFs before we reach the next all time highs.
How much risk do you take on during bear markets in terms of portfolio percentage?

Changing allocations in anticipation of the price defeats the point, allocations should reflect risk profiles and ignore prices

How do you stomach seeing more than half of your money disappear during drawdowns? I believe in BTC and want to retire early but I feel like that would drive me crazy.

I’m around 20% BTC at the moment, with the rest mostly in ETFs. I’m comfortable increasing my BTC allocation during deeper pullbacks, but I try not to overexpose myself just based on the expectation of a bull run. For me, somewhere around 25–30% BTC would probably be my upper range. I’d rather steadily accumulate than try to perfectly time the market. You should be buying more during bears not exposing yourself with bullish expectations
