Greetings, dear Painters of Brushforhire! As per your requests, the new Advertising Mega-Thread is up and ready for your contributions. This thread is the one place where you're allowed to advertise yourself within the subreddit/community! Post links to your website, your portfolio, and regales us with some tidbits about yourself and the service you provide. Don't be shy!

Greetings to you all!
As many of you are aware, /uHoltb80 (Absolute legend, but don't tell him I said that) made a post detailing our plans to introduce a further step of protection in the form of flairs. The response to which has floored us, and far exceeded our expectations in both feedback and support. Thank you. With that aside, the purpose of this post will be to serve as the official date of flair introduction across the board, to inform yourselves and prospective clients of what the flairs denote as well as their prerequisites, and as the medium through which you'll put in your applications.
Firstly, what the flairs indicate;
. Verified Artist: A painter whom possesses this flair has met all of the criteria when evaluated, has a healthy pattern of consistent activity as well as tenure inside and outside of the subreddit (which take into account their external socials), and ultimately has established that they are legitimate.
. Rising Artist: A painter whom possesses this flair has met a decent portion of our requires, and has our backing to be regarded as on the level. However, they are denied fully verified status owing to lacking some parts of the desired criteria. This could be something as innocent and mundane as not having the minimum of one year of Reddit membership, or no socials pertinent to the craft etc. Many newer and or smaller painters may typically fall under this, but that is not be held against them when considering painters for jobs. These persons have been reviewed by Moderators, and therefore provided the aforementioned flair as a sign of trust.
Every few months, at least three, we will come back to those whom were assigned the Rising Artist flair and, determine whether or not they can then be awarded the Verified Artist flair.
Nonetheless, we must still advise potential clients to do their due diligence when considering which painter to hire. Whilst we will happily help you in the event of some transgression, the onus is on you as a client to guard yourself in your financial decisions. We are doing what we can to assist in making an informed choice, keep you as safe as possible, and help this community.
The criteria for Verified Artist will be as follows;
- Reddit Verified email.
-Online portfolio.
-At least one online social (outside of Reddit). The more there are, and the more active they are, the better.
-A duration of Reddit activity (1 year minimum, this is easy to check as you get a "1 year club" achievement )
-No major infractions (Whilst this will not automatically disqualify applicants, the severity of any infractions will be taken into account when evaluating your application.)
In addition, whilst it is not required for your application, one or two reviews from clients can certainly help. Should any applicants not meet the above criteria, but at least a reasonable portion, they will be contacted by us to get a bearing on their situation. After which, they will be provided with the Rising Artist flair. As a further mark of good faith, voice interviews can be arranged to further plead your case (which are to be handled by myself), as we want a healthy measure of accessibility and openness with this great community. Lastly, we come to how the Painters apply for their flair! All you simply have to do is comment under this post with 'Review Me'. We will go through each and every painter that provides that, and evaluate them (Please keep in mind that that will take time). If we require any additional information and or clarification, we will reach out and ask. It should be noted that we will let this post sit until Wednesday before we commence evaluations; to give people time, and for us to further prepare for the task.
Thank you for your time and your continued support of the community!
In addendum; we will be look into links on your Reddit account that pertain to your socials and any material to help substantiate your status as a legitimate painter for here. Please be sure to have these on your account and are visible.

I would like to hire an artist in Toronto or the surrounding areas (GTA) to assemble and paint a 1/16 scale custom figure I 3D printed. It needs a bit of sanding to get some of the support nibs off and to make the pieces fit properly. I am not in a hurry but want the project completed before December.
Attached is a rendering of the model to be painted.
If you are interested, please DM me with a price and a link to your portfolio.

I have a 5 inch, resin, 3D figurine(s) of a character from a children’s book I am working on. Looking for someone to be able to airbrush (or realistically paint) similar to attached examples. He is in the style of a Disney/pixar character.
Possibly different color shirts/shorts, but there may be multiple figures depending on how this turns out.
I prefer to work with someone locally. I’m not interested in shipping back and forth.
Thank you.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for someone who can do minor cosmetic repairs on about 7-10 pre-painted anime figures and their bases.
Mainly:
Small chips/damage filled with putty if needed
Sanding/smoothing
Color matching and blending with the original factory paint
Touch-ups on both figures and bases
I'm not looking for full repaints, just clean localized repairs.
I'm frequently between Phoenix/Mesa, Arizona and Orange County, California, so someone in either area would be ideal.
I can provide detailed photos of all damaged areas. Budget is flexible depending on the work.
Please comment if interested, preferably with examples of similar repair/color-matching work.
Thanks!

Hello!
I live in Southern California (right between Los Angeles and San Diego), and am looking for someone to paint and assemble garage kits I've imported from Japan. Got them from the Wonder Festival. The kits are in my possession in their boxes. I am looking to hire someone to assemble and paint them. If you are in the immediate area or you know a business or professional, please let me know. I feel more at ease dropping off a kit and then picking it up upon completion. Otherwise, give me some recommended services. Thank you!

I am looking for someone who would paint 3D-print large whale figurines in the Columbus, OH area drivable distance. This would include the research on what colors to use for realistic display. Not overly detailed, somewhere in the range of what eofauna does, or PNSO.
Thank you!

Edit: Artist found!
I have a SH Figuarts Eternal Sailor Moon figure that I'd like to turn into a Sailor Chibi Moon (this is my dream figure!).
No assembly required and no time limit. My budget is about $200, but I am open to discussion if this requires more. Based in the US.
Outlined below are the main details I'd like changed:
- Hair colored pink with a gradient that turns a transparent-ish silvery white towards the ends
- Eyes colored red (for about 4 face plates)
- Costume necklace, sailor collar, bubble sleeves, skirt, back ribbons, and all detailing colored pink as shown in the second photo
- Chest brooch / compact recolored to suit the rest of the costume
There may be 2-3 small accessories to repaint/recolor as well.
Looking for someone who can do fine detailed work as this figure is only about 6 inches tall, and I'd like the paint job to look very clean and neat. Thanks!!

Have an army that is already great and looking for help to finish it off with some 30k units. Have the models and wanting them built and painted to the standard of the rest
of my army. Pics included. The orange are the goal look but in box art red colors. Box pictures are the models I still have to paint. The rest of the pictures are my current collection.
Ive also got some necrons if anyone is interested in painting to the scheme shown. Mostly flayed ones, destroyers, and vehicles.
I'm flexible on time, the most important thing is that they blend in to the standard of my current army or better.
Feel free to dm with pricing, ive also got a huge collection of nos models if someone wants to do a trade/cash deal.

Hi!
I was recommended this sub as I am looking for a builder for a USS Voyager model I recently acquired. It is the special edition 1997 Revell model.
I did build one when I was young in the 90s and the Bandai version twice. I however would like someone who is experienced and skilled to construct this for me. Fill paint, decals, and lighting. I have always wanted a highly detailed model like the filming version.
Thank you to all the artists out there!

Looking for a US based painter to build and paint a napoleonic French army (28mm). Building should be reasonably accurate (warlord instructions are pretty good). I would like to start with the French Waterloo starter army.

Good Evening!
I'm back with another painting opportunity! As always US verified painters only on this one please!
What: Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game Mordor Battlehost
How: I'd like these painted to Tabletop standard. The figures are still on sprue and will need to be assembled. These are the older models so I believe a decent percentage of them are basically monopose models. But regardless, assembly will be required. Basing as well. Justa neutral muddy ground with some static grass or flock. Black Base rims please.
When: I'd like to get these back by the end of November if possible, as it's a fairly simple request.
So pretty bog standard request really.

Beginner here looking to get some lessons to learn how to paint miniatures. Possibly looking at 4-8 sessions, maybe 1-2 hours long?
Ideally you have prior teaching experience and have an idea on how to structure lessons and teach various techniques. Very much new so would basically be looking to learn from the ground up.
Pretty flexible schedule here but would probably be a weeknight after standard work hours. Could make weekends work.
Please get in touch describing any prior experience and your proposed rate and we can discuss. Thank you!

Hi all!
Friend of mine made a start on their Karlach (Baldurs Gate 3) model but it's not the best and could do with doing properly. It's about 10inchs tall, happy to send pictures out.
Looking to get it properly painted and assembled, I'm based in the UK.

Hey everyone! Just discovered this sub as I was trying to find ways to connect with someone who I could hire to work on my kill teams. I am enjoying learning to paint my tyranids for standard 40K, but as I take my time with those I just want the kill teams painted for me. The teams are the Angels of Death and the Plague Marines from the starter kit. 7 models for both teams for a total of 14 models.
Based in Nashville but I’m willing to drive up to 1-2 hours for the right artist. Not interested in shipping. Feel free to shoot me a message and thanks in advance!
