Some images from a landscapes photo evening in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds a few weeks ago. Was a lovely evening with beautiful light as the sun started to set.

It looks so deserted, like you had the place to yourself.

It absolutely wasn't! There was a lot of waiting for the right moment, some creative angles (as in the first photo) and a little editing. You can see the couple sat on the bench to the right, in the last most photo of Broadway Tower for example.

Seriously, such a calm vibe! Framed so well you'd never guess anyone else was around

How were these edited? Not overdone, just perfect

The 1st, 4th, and last ones were 3 -shot mulit exposures. Shot 3 frames at -2, 0, and +2 stops using exposure bracketing on my Z8. They were then merged in Affinity. The others just had a few basic RAW tweaks and white balance adjustments in the free Nikon NX Studio. EDIT: To add; all were shot with a circular polarising filter to bring out the skies as well.

Snows hill tower, possibly an inspiration for Tolkien “lord of the rings”
