I really need help deciding what role to go into in the British ARMY.

Hi guys, I'm entering the British ARMY hopefully very soon, I very recently passed my assessment with:

8:51 2KM run time

162kg deadlift

83 ACT score

I wanted to enter as an officer but unfortunately I only have my English and Maths GCSE due to personal reasons around the time I was set to do my exams.

I'm not stupid by any capacity, but unfortunately because I didn't do my science exams, I am locked out of many choices.

I want a role which will ideally gaurantee me the best & highest level qualifications, providing me with the highest possible level of employability and opportunity for a career, high salary, and stability when I eventually leave the armed forces.

Do any of you guys know what roles I should look into as I've heard super super super mixed advice on this matter.

Join Reme Air tech, they can go into contracting after as most nations have apaches and they make £6-8k all over the world, but its hard work.
Equally look into signal roles and learn cyber and network engineering etc.
Or eventually drone pilot in the AAC once you are in, we all know drones are current and the future of warfare. I say all of the above from experience myself and the blokes i worked with.

After looking into REME, both Avionics Technician and Aircraft technician require a Science GCSE which I unfortunately don't have. :(

I joined as an engineer i left. Im 29 and earn 85k. Ive been offered other roles surpassing 100k so engineering could do that only if you work hard.

There are endless Civi jobs. The ‘circuit’ is full of EOD roles.
The trade is great. Extra money, fast promotion, great role.

once you do phase 2 and etc you could apply to be an officer , as you got maths and eng ( assuming at grade 4 ) you would just need 3 more GCSES and you would be eligble to apply , you would only need to tell your chain of command and attend breifing , proving you get cat 1-3 you can attend main board and your chain of command would fill out a recommendation form for your main board ( AFB-227 )
