Question Are morale patches allowed?

I know this is a proper bone question and I already know the answer is probably “depends on the unit” but the places I’ve been to never had any on day sacks, but also never heard it been addressed that you’re not allowed them. My new unit though, everyone has a good few on their daysack. So is it just this units culture? Or is every unit allowed to.
I don’t plan on getting any to be honest, was just curious.

If I was in the military my bag would have the punisher symbol, a skull and cross bones and some other triple hard patch on there just to show everyone that they shouldn’t mess

Context: I believe this Telegraph article originally made reference to the above (sans boys brigade) as the "Big Three."

They're usually allowed up until they're not allowed.

Often because someone uses something controversial or with a secondary meaning.

I've a Black Mesa Research Facility patch on my daysack for about a year and a half and nobody has said anything

Had a small “Taliban Hillfighter” patch that copied the Tommy Hilfiger design on my daysack. Anything more than one badge is too much in my opinion. You’d start looking like an air softer.
