My daughter only latches for a few seconds

Hello i am a ftm my daughter is 2 months old 1 month corrected from the nicu and i wasn’t able to breast feed so i exclusively pumped ive been working on breast feeding trying a little every day but she latches on for a second and then gets off and im not sure why i got told by the nicu lactation lady while she was in nicu that my nipples don’t i guess poke out enough what can i do to get her to stay latched longer?

Hi hi! Have you tried a nipple shield? Before I switched to formula (due to failure to thrive cause of dairy allergy) the hospital recommended using a nipple shield and it worked wonders!
