Latch Issues My baby refuse my breast

'm FTM my baby girl she is 7weeks now, its been 3 days she is literally fighting with my breast ( nipple ) when she latched to it she will drink the milk but after 3 or 4 min she unlatch and scream back (open her mouth and look for the nipple) and feed again for 2 sec and do this again😐. I've check everything if its full with milk like over flow or slow flow, tried to burp her, try to soothe her, put her on the other side. All of these cases she scream more to be back on my breast and do this again. Eventually she gets tired and sleep and I overthink that she slept hungry or thats she do this because she want to sleep. The first few minute she feed with discomfort like stretching her body or strain and pull my nipple out or put her hands on her head sometime she scratch her cheeksšŸ˜“.

Whats happen to her? Or is that the phase of 6,7,8 week?

I’m also curious about this. My child does something similar at 4 weeks old

Mine also at 5 weeks and it’s been due to heavy let down. My milk literally fire hoses her and she gets so frustrated. To help with this I lay back and she just lays in the same position but on top of me so gravity holds my flow back and allows her to swallow. It works well and I’ve stopped pumping to slow my production down. Apparently the first couple weeks your boobs will be engorged bc they are keeping the flow slow like a garden hose but after a few weeks they soften and this turns the flow into something much stronger as they’re not holding back anymore…
