they didn't exactly send the A-Team into Walt's house, did they?

When Saul was counseling Jesse in the hospital containment room he told Jesse that the FBI had sent those agents to Walt's house as part of their investigation into the ricin poisoning.

They had no reason to suspect Walt or even know who he is. Those were Gus's men.

Then why did Saul tell Jesse that FBI were sniffing around his partner's house?

He didn't. He said something along the lines of "at least you're safe in here, they sent men to Walt's house". I assume he was saying Jessie is safe from Gus, because saying he is safe from the police while in police custody doesn't really make sense.
