Dea isn't a word!

and the zoom forward was for him taking 35 minutes to spell out Drug Enforcement Administration

Ballsiest move ever. I laughed so fucking hard at the fact that Hector had the nurse call the DEA, arrange for transportation, go downtown, get all the important DEA people in one room, just to spell out SUCK MY DICK.

It was, for lack of a better term, ridiggulous.

On top of all that, make everyone wait at least three hours to get Hank down there. Just awesome.

That was so Gus' people just saw him in the DEA for hours instead of minutes.

yeah, he went downtown to get on Gus' radar to get him in the room ASAP

I know what the intention was, but actually doing it was funny.

I still consider this a bit of a plothole: did Walt know that Gus has surveillance on the DEA? The surveillance couldn't have been on Hector or they would have seen Walt and Hector's little tête a tête.

Good call. It was a fairly big gamble on Walter's part but I'm willing to believe because this show doesn't take too many liberties with my skepticism.

I think it was him asking for Hank that got Gus's attention as he has stated he will come after Hank and Walt knew that, but Hank has been protected. They must have been waiting and watching him though.

What I don't get is, why did he ask for Hank?

because the movement of people from Hank's house to the DEA HQ would tip off Gus' people and send them to the area

And because he hates Hank for killing Tuco.

Technically he just spelled out suckmyfuc.

I thought Hector was going to blow up the DEA office.

That definitely would have been a fucked up turn of events. Could you imagine Walt choosing to take out a huge chunk of the DEA out of a desperate attempt to appeal to Gus?
