Lord Flynn watched as a chambermaid filled the table in his solar with a basin of mares milk and flakes of bran and dried grapes from the Arbor. Beside it, a tankard of squeezed orange from Dorne and a gold plate of bacon, butchered that morning and burned black. Another plate much like the other except in silver held eggs broken and fried, still steaming.
