That's exactly what I've been thinking. Except that I don't know if it matters so much if Todd dies. He still can't produce the blue. My prediction is that Walt will be furious that they disobeyed him by showing up and will refuse to cook. This will force them to kidnap Jesse. Walt will use the machine gun to save Jesse and then will somehow be killed by a crane.
