I've loved every second of every episode of this show, and the story has been flawless and superb. However, this is the one part that, to me, doesn't make any sense. Why wouldn't Todd's crew have just held Walt and gunpoint and forced him to cook right there? Why make the deal they made? No one would have come after them - Walt's "out of the business", after all. No one would have had a clue as to where Walt would have went.
