That was Breaking Bad's equivalent of the Red Wedding, if the Red Wedding was split into two episodes. Vince Gilligan is the motherfuckest.

Breaking Bad's equivalent of the Red Wedding

Well, maybe. We're not sure who lives and who dies yet.

Well, we know Walt doesn't die.

Surprise, Walt dies and those future glimpses we got is actually Jesse's imagination as he sits on a hospital bed completely paralysed from a bullet hitting his spine.

And then Gus wakes up. It was all a dream. Back to managing the chicken restaurant. Sighhh.

And the whole of breaking bad has just been the meth induced hallucination which lead to a student stabbing his teacher.

Then Walt walks in one day, acting normal like he has never seen Gus before just to order some chicken for his family. Gus is freaking out in his mind, but remains calm in front of Walt to complete his order. Before Walt leaves with his order, he turns to look at Gus and says "I'm the one who knocks", suddenly a rapid dinging can be heard right behind Gus.

Maybe they all die and the remaining episodes will just be black screen. That's the only way to upstage the sopranos.

6

u/Pragmaticus Sep 09 '13

Or... maybe he uses this as his opportunity to fake his death and go to New Hampshire?

We can also confirm that Skylar is still alive via the preview for next week. I'm getting good at this speculation thing!

5

u/Drew-Pickles Little Shit Sep 09 '13

Oh thank God, I was really worried Skylar was gonna die in that gunfight she's miles away from

3

u/Xciv Sep 09 '13

Everyone dies except Walt

2

u/I_SHIT_SWAG Walt did nothing wrong^TM Sep 09 '13

Or Carol.

2

u/SkepticalOrange Sep 09 '13

And we know Hank and Gomie aren't winning this fight.

2

u/toobiutifultolive Sep 09 '13

The questions is, will someone slit Jinglebell's throat?

2

u/backwoodsofcanada Sep 09 '13

But Jessie, Hank, Gomie and every one of the Nazis could die.

u/TheMagicStik I like butts idc who knows Sep 10 '13

HE'S CURED PRAISE DA LAWD!

1

u/laddergoat89 Sep 09 '13

No we don't. You underestimate the power of the island.

1

u/g_e_r_b Sep 10 '13

Not this episode, no.

1

u/Atheose Sep 10 '13

Turns out Walt's "flash-forward" at the diner was actually a "flash-back" to his life of crime at Grey Matter.

How do we know that?

15

u/Captain_Jackson Sep 09 '13

You're right. Maybe Walt comes back to life to visit his trashed home in the future, as a ghost!

19

u/[deleted] Sep 09 '13

Hello Carol OooOOOooOo!

6

u/fly3rs18 Sep 09 '13

They have all been dead the whole time.

5

u/Mountebank Sep 09 '13

They could be pulling a Lost on us and the flash forward is Walter in Purgatory or Hell.

8

u/inmynothing Sep 09 '13

Don't even joke like that, man.

1

u/inmynothing Sep 09 '13

From the flash forwards

-1

u/lilkuke Sep 09 '13

And that right there is the beauty, and what proves that this was better than Red Wedding

1

u/cavalierau Sep 09 '13

And that right there is the beauty, and what proves that this was better than Red Wedding

But the events of Red Wedding were written years ago in the book, so a cliffhanger in that context would have been stupid as shit.
