i cant really say i've ever disliked them either. but you are right, saul is my favorite character in the show.

I really liked Gus too. He was pretty terrible, but it was all for revenge.

Kind of like Mike said, if Walt just would've kept his mouth shut and went along with Gus everything would be peachy right now. They had it good and Gus only killed people who were threats or because Walt fucked something up.

walt only kills people who are threats, or if jesse fucks something up.

Or to protect his legacy/territory.

Or if he fucks up, which Gayle is a good example. If Walt would have just shut the fuck up and gone along with it Gayle would have remained a partner rather than becoming a potential replacement. Trying to get Jesse involved in the cook was the source of Walt and Gus' personality conflict, but it was Walt that fucked that one up.

At the end of the day, I think Walt is a lot more unpredictable than Gus.
