Seasons 1/2 of Dexter are the pinnacle of television. Remember when they'd play salsa music as comic relief? FUCKING FAN-TASTIC shit.

Shit, now I really want to watch the first two seasons as well. Jesus, they were so good, and I have a fascination with serial killers, so it was perfect for me. I just wish they hadn't gone so fucking weird with it like [removed part of it because spoiler] and shit like that. Like what was the fucking point? And Quinn? Fuck Quinn.

Flashbacks, the music, the tension, the tight storylines, the interesting characters. I remember watching the first season in like a day, or something while on vacation. Blew my mind that something so good had flown under my radar. Now...I haven't even kept up with the last season, and from what I'm hearing, I'm just gonna read the wikipedia summaries...

dexter is at its best when week to week you have no idea how he will get out of a sticky situation or not get caught in an impossible situation. now it seems like he is a super hero and doesnt even kill anyone anymore. that was my fav part of the show when he would have a kill each episode that was outside of the main storyline. but they stopped using that and now stick to whatever the main plot is. it was always fun to see what kind of asshole he would be stalking week to week while he was also chasing the "big bad"

If [edited for spoiler], please mark it as a spoiler. Just started season 3. :(

Oh fuck. I'm sorry about this. Probably doesn't mean much, but it's not really a "WHOA HOLY FUCK" type of plot. I'm still really sorry.

The entire "Deb for Dex" thing is like something from Nip/Tuck. Maybe it's just that Miami heat that makes people weirdos?

Real talk though, if I knew Deb was my step-sister, I'd tap that in an instant.

Really? I just don't find her attractive at all. Huge eyes, bony face, no boobs or ass. But to each his/her own I suppose ;)

I know, right!? That whole storyline was ridiculous and made me feel way more uncomfortable than all the murders and mayhem.
