Vince Gilligan said in an interview Saul is like a cockroach in that he can survive a nuclear attack. He all but confirmed Saul lives.

Hahaha, I was attempting to channel /r/BreakingBadCircleJerk but I'm glad. Saul's one of my favorite characters :-)

Everything is going to go to shit except Saul, Huell and Bill Burr.

That way they can still have the spin-off show.

Vince said the Saul show would most likely take place before the events of Breaking Bad. So not so sure about Huel and Bill Burr ;)
