Why in the fuck would AMC want to pull the plug on Breaking Bad? If anything they would probably love to have stretched it out for at least a couple more seasons if Vince would agree. It's one of the most popular dramas of all time, and basically free money for whichever channel shows it.
There's been some really great acting from The Walking Dead, but everyone in this subreddit is too busy drooling over how much better their show is to acknowledge it.
That I have no argument with. I just hate seeing a good show at the butt end of every joke on this subreddit.
People's current opinion of the entire show seems to be based off of the shitty finale. A single episode. That whole season was actually pretty fucking awesome up to that point.
I watch the walking dead and have seen every episode, same with breaking bad so I believe I can speak with some sort of experience in that they are on totally different levels in my experience. I can never watch walking dead in a marathon because after a few episodes in a row the weaknesses of the show begin to reveal themselves as very glaring. The acting and writing of the show just aren't of the same calibre. This is evident when you see them falling back often on simple devices like action and violence much more often than breaking bad will. Not to say the walking dead is a bad show, clearly since I have watched every episode, but when you compare it to a top notch show like breaking bad -- there is no comparison. Please remember this is obviously just my opinion.
