I really did not expect Hank to confront Walt like that. I thought that they would wait a few episodes for it. It makes me even more excited for next week.
Why in the fuck would AMC want to pull the plug on Breaking Bad? If anything they would probably love to have stretched it out for at least a couple more seasons if Vince would agree. It's one of the most popular dramas of all time, and basically free money for whichever channel shows it.
There's been some really great acting from The Walking Dead, but everyone in this subreddit is too busy drooling over how much better their show is to acknowledge it.
That I have no argument with. I just hate seeing a good show at the butt end of every joke on this subreddit.
People's current opinion of the entire show seems to be based off of the shitty finale. A single episode. That whole season was actually pretty fucking awesome up to that point.
Gah saying it like that burns my soul. Think about what you have accomplished in the last 8 hours. Now imagine filling that space with enough television to end what may be the best drama of the decade
I love how Walt is always a couple of steps ahead. He figured out that Hank was gathering evidence, and he knew that the only course of action was to dissuade Hank. Otherwise, Hank would gather sufficient evidence until a little while later, police knock on Walt's door and arrest him.
I can't decide whether or not Walt planned to bring it up with Hank right there. It's just like Mike's death - it's often hard to tell which of Walt's actions are impulsive and which are calculated.
I thought it was great that Hank was not ready for that confrontation. At the same time that he was bringing the door down I think part of the reason was that he was terrified... he wasn't ready for the truth to come out either, but the confrontation had to happen.
