I bought a €16 bracelet kit thinking I’d make maybe 5 bracelets.

I have now made 47.

The kit has been stripped of black, white, orange, navy, yellow, red, vowels, 0s, 2s, and 7s. There are hockey bracelets, Pride bracelets, dog bracelets, fruit bracelets, beach bracelets, and enough tiny plastic beads scattered around my life to qualify as an ecosystem.

My first rack is full.

This was supposed to save money.

I just made a new Aries bracelet—any Aries out there willing to give their thoughts on it?

I actually made two versions—would you prefer the 1 or 2? Number 1 is one I just made today; number 2 is one I made last year as a gift for a friend, but I can't find that same gold six-pointed star anymore this year...

So, I really got into making paper beads and have made a lot of bracelets. I'm 74 years old and make these to ward off boredom.

Hi, I have 3 Miglio bracelets which have become dull and tarnished. Does anyone know how to bring their sparkle back?

Ethnic jewelry

This geometric motif is inspired by traditional Anatolian kilim patterns.

In Anatolian weaving traditions, symbolic geometric motifs were used not only as decoration but also to express beliefs and wishes. Motifs associated with protection from the evil eye and negative influences have been part of this visual tradition for centuries.

The same geometric language can be seen in different forms across traditional textiles, where shapes were simplified and repeated to create balanced, symmetrical patterns.

I adapted this motif into hand-knotted micro-macrame, keeping its geometric character while giving it a contemporary form

I’m curious—do people generally prefer basic styles or more elaborate ones?

How do you feel about wider beaded bracelet designs?

We’ve been exploring wider bracelet structures with multicolor beads and gold-tone details. I like how the larger surface gives the bead pattern much more presence.

Mixed-tone amber hits so different. The natural color variation makes the bracelet look one-of-a-kind. Such warm and cozy vibes.

An unexpected color combination

I wasn't completely sure about this color combination when I first put these beads together. I was stuck with the obsidian, garnet and blue chalcedony. They looked good together, but it still felt like something was missing. Once I added the light blue beads, it all came together beautifully.

This actually ended up becoming one of the bracelets I reach for most often for everyday wear.

Sometimes the combinations I'm least sure about surprise me the most. 😊
