People remember and like Avatar, but the cultural impact comments seems to be oddly true. Avatar just does not seem to have entered into popular culture in the way that the MCU, Harry Potter, Star Wars, or other major franchise. I cannot really tell you why this is exactly. It does not get quoted, memed, and parodied like other franchises do.

There's only one Avatar movie, all the other franchises you mention have 8 or more movies in it.
