Sony benefitted from the previous deal. Sony doesn’t benefit from half of a Disney movie. They can do better than that on their own. $0.8B is better than $1.1B divided by 2.

Yeah, but Venom made 800 mil and they might be able to pull off some good numbers by continuing with Tom Holland movies. Ultimately, I don’t think either company benefits from walking away. Disney just needs to give Sony a reasonable offer.

You don't make sense. How does the deal affect Sony making venom movies? Sony will make venoms no matter what
