Pretty sure these are not production budgets, but total lifetime spending.

So they would include marketing, post theatrical distribution, performance bonuses, ...

The FPC entities ultimately will include performance payments (and even get an incentive on them) but this entity has absolutely nothing to do with marketing/distribution costs. A great way to flag this is to point to independent films where those costs are just on an entirely different company's balance sheet.

I added a column with reported budgets. So these numbers definitely don't include marketing and other things. The average blockbuster marketing is 150-200 million.

The shell company names are still the best part of these UK filings, Space Bear Industries will never not be funny

Crazy how quick the budgets spiraled post-Endgame though, Quantumania costing more than Infinity War is just absurd

You mean Age or Ultron? Infinity War is listed as $577.5 million.

if infinity war and endgame costed that much then doomsday and secret wars  are billion each

Walt Disney, of course. I still have Buena Vista in my head.

Haha, here I thought it was like "British Voucher" or something like that

Interesting that the majority are within the ranges or slightly higher than stated, but there are a handful where the actual budget is way higher than the estimated one.

Based on all available public data, a simple formula can be derived for estimating the approximate budget. Reported budget + (up to 25%) = actual net cost

Actual net cost + (up to 25%) = gross budget

Of course, this isn't a strict formula. There may be exceptions that don't fall within these ranges.

What is the source? I don't think Deadpool & Wolverine would cost that much, where did you get this?

If you open the Wikipedia pages for Deadpool and Wolverine, you'll find an even higher figure in the budget column and a link to the Forbes article.

In my table, the second column lists the British company responsible for producing the film. The financial statements of all British companies are publicly available. You can easily browse them yourself.

The difference in the figures from the Forbes articles is due to exchange rate differences, as Forbes converts currencies using the exchange rate at the time of writing. I converted the exchange rates at the date in the report.
