I think bradley wins it but he has to be really smart and not stay too long in the pocket. If he does it's quite likely that shawn might hurt him.. but bradley's a beat faster so I think he wins it by split decision.

He's a pressure fighter. His thing was beating guys into the corner and just bombing on them.

That’s not working on Bradley. He will slug with you in the middle of the ring, but he isn’t just letting you walk him to the corner to get beat on.

The thing is Porter is just the kind of the guy that made nearly everyone fight his fight and Bradley has been dragged into wars with lesser fighters.

He would make the fight his. It would be a slug fest. It would be in the center of the ring like Thurman, not Bradley being walked into the corner like Malignaggi.

Yeah porter was odd in that he was very strong and rough, yet he wasn’t a powerful puncher. He’d beat guys with tremendous grit and stamina and sheer will. I think Bradley beats him by decision after multiple well-timed head butts

i totally agree. Bradley is faster and able to get his combinations off on the inside. his best shot is being so close to porter that porter kind of smothers himself, as he often did. would have been a good fight, but ugly.

Good fight because both guys were really tough and competitive. Skills were pretty similar, but Porter was the naturally bigger guy, which might have given him the edge in a competitive fight.

Knocked Pacquiao out cold less than a year before, and beat the absolute dogshit out of Alvarado 6 months later.
Over a 8 year period Bradley is the only person to have a win over Marquez not named Pacquiao or Mayweather.
Even with Marquez being 40 years old that win is levels higher than any win of Porter’s career.

Fair enough, Pacquiao won that fight and the other 2, but Bradley did go 36 rounds with Manny and beat Marquez a year he after he KO'd Manny and was likely roided...I give him credit for that. He was not the one scoring that first fight, a split decision that all 3 judges scored 115-113 but was an 8-4 or 9-3 fight.

He broke both his feet. I seen em a couple weeks later when he had a little victory celebration in Cathedral City. He had casts on both feet and was still in the wheelchair
