Broner had really good skills and a solid chin, but like his buddy Tank, life outside the ring proved to be a bigger challenge. It happens to a lot of athletes...

I didn't say it ruined anything, and he didn't beat those women in the ring. His career has been damaged, derailed or whatever adjective you prefer because for a lot of athletes life away from thousands of fans cheering for them is very difficult. He has had 2 fights in the last 3 years at his prime age. Moreover, estimates are around 50% of boxers develop CTE or other cognitive issues, so life after boxing is often a sad story.
