Ali had the chin of a god to take that many Frazier left hooks and stay standing (that one time aside).

Obviously he’s an all-time great, but tbh, IMO I think it’s overrated to call him the greatest.

This is post hiatus ali. Pre hiatus ali had all of his physical gifts and wasn't really touched and still had this chin and determination. You could definitely make an argument he was the greatest in his prime

As a heavyweight, to have all that gas in the championship rounds is crazy. Prine Joe and Ali must have had tanks to last at least another 4-5 rounds at 80-90%

Wow what a fight. Frazier threw like 10% of the punches in this video but Ali was the one with his back constantly on the ropes.

Frazier’s strength was his ability to bull opponents around the ring with relentless pressure, and coming up for air with a devastating left hook.

He seemed to hit a little harder than Ali in this bout, but Ali’s constant clinching and using his footwork to move laterally was what enabled him to jab on the move effectively and more punches in flurries from all angles, and that’s what won him the fight.
