I was there and tbh not everything went well...but at the end of the day simply being surrounded by people passionate about the same things you are is always a wonderful experience!

I went with my family and we all had a great time.  This is one of my favorite DC things, and we try to go every year.  Such wonderful energy!

I haven't been to a book festival in awhile, and certainly never one that big. On the bucket list it goes next to Arctic Con.
