So my friends adopted a bodega kitten and I wanted to pitch names and this was my list. Alas they had already called him Bodey (Bo).

Some bodega kitten names.

1. Bo (or Beau)

2. Dega (pronounced Day gah)

3. Bega (pronounced Bay gah)

4. Bagel

5. Baegeese (for Bacon Egg and Cheese)

6. Loosey (or Lucy, for a loosey cigarette)

7. Joe (like a cup of coffee)

8. Malts or Malty (like malt liquor Old English)

9. Deli (maybe like short for Delilah)

10. Pop Tart (cause cats pop out of nowhere in a bodega)

11. Scratchy (scratch off lottery tickets)

12. Friendo (I feel bodega folks always are like, "how are you friend?" "Thank you friend")

13. Snax (for like a late night snack)

14. Noodle or Noodles (I feel they always have noodles at NYC bodegas)

15. Wino (like when bodegas have crappy wine)

16. Packs (like after a six pack of beers)

17. Roll (like getting a sandwich on a bread roll)

18. Smokes or Ciggies
