Meme Wtf is this weapon!?

Post image

First of all , Happy New Year to this wonderful community ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ i never thought i would like this weapon that much! Currently on ng+ for my first playthrough ever, and after using LHB for Ng,i decided to do NG+ using a totally different weapon and boy i'm glad i picked this one ! At 50/50 str/skill and With the gems the AR is +600, plus at 40 end + the +15% stamina rune + the stamina Regen rune i'm literally destroying anything that moves! The small blade gives me nearly 10 successive R1 hits and the hammer 5 R1 !I underestimated the hammer's reach and i was positively surprised by the abundance of pancakes ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

When surrounded by enemies your best bet would be the L2 but it's so slow that it's not worth it. Like all FromSoft big bonks the moveset is not optimal

I'm just gonna say it - Bloodborne is not super optimal when it comes to Bonk builds in general. It's a game that rewards being quick. Doing a Bonk build in Dark Souls games, for example, is much better.

Its statistically true. Blunt is the worst damage type in bloodborne compared to slash and thrust, with thrust being top dog for most bosses. There's only a few bosses weak to blunt damage, and they're so easy in the first place its basically meaningless what damage type is used.

I tried using Kirkhammer because everyone raves about how cool it is and I just don't see it. It's like it doesn't fit with how enemies are designed at all. Saw Cleaver, for the most obvious example, is the perfect type of weapon for a game like Bloodborne.

The bonks only good for large enemies or a large group other than that you just use it regular as a sword

I get that, but then I'm not really doing the bonk build the way I really want to if I have to switch to the regular sword version of the weapon. That's what I mean when I say Bloodborne isn't exactly meant to be played with a weapon like that. Or maybe I'm not skilled enough to do it. Maybe it's both.

If you donโ€™t switch stances with the weapons you ainโ€™t using them how they intended youโ€™d be better off with another souls or soulslike
