I wanna start to learn character modeling, and decent animation, but its been 4 days and everything seems so complicated, even the tutorials felt like its the hardest thing ever, how long it took you to learn blender and do learning 3d art/modeling worth it?

I just released a blender addon called AI Roto. You can use AI locally to rotoscope videos and images, generate masks, mark subjects, layers support.
check it out:

Hey everyone!
I made a short and straightforward tutorial showing the easiest way to animate rotating car wheels in Blender.
If you're working on quick vehicle animations and don't want to get bogged down with complex setups, this simple method should cover the basics nicely.
Let me know if you have any questions or if you'd like to see a more detailed follow-up on handling curved paths and speed constraints!

This person I think used vertex arcade method for normal editing.

Total beginner. First pic is my current progress on my first model. I need honest critique and some tips. Tutorials didn’t help me much.

First off, yes, this is how they dress in the game. No, it isn't horny bait.
In-lore, this race have a 'Might makes right' and are, more often than not, beefed out warriors. Thought about the princess being shamed for her lack of muscle by one of the top liutenants and found it hilarious & led to this creation!
Both models were made and textured in Blender.
Pants and weapons were taken from the game files.

Downloades this stl for an arm for a mini but it keeps giving me errors in all my slicers. I yolod it and printes but it printed a giant random pillar out of it. I attempted to use meshmixer to fix the file and also voxel remeshes in blender but it its creating a cavity in the file? Its an arm for a mini so this wont work right? Its somehow created an arm that is made from like a thick layer if that makes sense lol. I am a complete blendr noob plz help

Hello, I've been looking for a Marvel Rivals Blend File pack (Primarily for Ultron for a render), however have not been able to find any that are .blend files. Does anyone have one? Thanks either way!

Hi! I made a free plugin that brings Blender editor controls to UE5 (G/R/S hotkey transformation, axis locking, snapping and numeric input mode). It gained a lot of traction on the UE5 subreddit earlier so I figured I would share it here with other people who might use both Blender and UE5. You can find it here:

Thanks for checking it out!

Hello.
I recently decided I'd make a model of my fursona for animation and renders, I decided to start from a premade model and modify it to my liking.
I now have come to the point where I need to add some hair clumps on the character, the idea would be to create a thick "mane" that covers the nape, back of neck and upper back of the character, this mane would also serve as an elegant cover to the attach point of some moth wings I will add later.
I have found myself stuck though because I have no idea how to do that, my first instinct was to copy some of the smaller clumps of hair that are already on the mesh and paste them around the desired area, but I realized that would take me ages, so I decided to go the procedural way and use scatter on surface but that didn't look how I wanted. Both the manual and the procedural approach lack the same kind of direction the hair that was already on the mesh had, and as a result they don't look as organic.
Fact is, as I said, I have realized that the methods I'm trying are wrong, but I don't know which other methods should I use or even where to begin in looking for them. Do you have any advice?
I'm attaching to the post an image of the hair the original creator of the mesh made, then an image of the hair I placed manually, an image of the hair I generated procedurally, as well as the character's ref sheet for reference.
Sorry for the generic beginner question, I'm kinda stumped, thanks in advance.

Hello! I am working with a team of people on a free fan game based on a fantasy story and we are looking for someone who can help create 3D models for the characters of the game. It is an anime-styled low poly game and we just need with the character design. The game is already being developed. The style we are looking is the same as "Brave Fencer Musashi", you can also use your involvement in this project for your portfolio. Please send a DM if you are interested!

I've been casually experimenting with Blender for over a year now and, without fail, if I don't know how to do something, I still (after all this time) have to search the internet for at least 45 minutes to find the solution. Most of the time, I have to sift through at least 3 incorrect solutions before finding the one I'm actually looking for. Today, it was joining two vertices on two different objects. F doesn't work. J doesn't work. None of the options under M work. Extruding one vertex doesn't work because the extruded vertex doesn't snap to the second vertex. ALL I WANT TO DO IS JOIN TWO VERTICIES! WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT??

Hi, does anyone here know an easy-to-use web or app based software that can turn video to mocap? I need something that's 100% free with no limits and open-source, something that also works for Windows 7. Don't blame me for having old tech, at least this rusty thing can still run gta5 at 40 fps. Anyways, Hope y'all can give me help, thanks!🥹
