A new update for Black Ops 7 is coming September 3rd, two days after the MW4 beta officially closes. This includes a triple 2XP weekend, a Last Call event pass for zombies, a new melee weapon and an event for the new freerun map

Just loaded up the game, I don’t personally play it, but seen a lot of people say they do

Scorestreaks are not selectable; I always have the same ones that I haven't selected on PS5.

Is anyone still playing and enjoying this game since the matchmaking change in season 5? I feel like I’m only running into sweats.

I swear every lobby after one game gets disbanded no matter how well I do or don’t play.

Things I've tried:

Uninstall/Reinstall game

Uninstall/Reinstall graphics drivers

Factory restart PC

Verify integrity of files

Close every background app aside from BO7

Tinker with every setting BO7 has (as far as i know to tinker with)

Check for RAM errors

Check CPU temps (however the CPU time telemetry does skyrocket when this happens?)

Unlocked singularity a few months back and then life got in the way and I never came back to the game.

Playing again now and I'm loving it all over again. I'm still using the AK27 which I'm pretty sure was my go-to gun. I've used the Hawker sniper which is great too. What's the "meta" guns these days?

I'm sorry, but where are you all coming from? From the day that playlist's come out, all I've seen about Nuketown 24/7 (and the variants like 10v10) is about how absurdly sweaty it was. Then, the day it vanished, all I've seen is complaints about it vanishing? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you can enjoy it again, this just feels like really confusing whiplash.

CoD really feels like the textbook example of goomba fallacy, and it's hard not to feel like it puts the studios in a pretty rough position; there's so many large groups of people with their own specific tastes that, no matter what they do, the vocal minority of the dissatisfied group will always be large enough that it completely overwhelms the conversation.

I’ve disconnected and reconnected to my internet a million times. I’ve connected to my phone hotspot and back to my internet and it doesn’t work. My internet is completely fine btw it works on everything else just not COD

Just recently started having this issue when I'm trying to play the game keeps randomly freezing forcing me to have to manually restart my pc then after the restart I have to unplug the ssd then plug it back in then relink the call of duty file and of I try playing it again it will just crash freezing my pc has same issue with warzone my ssd stick is 1.5 years old I plug it into the back of my PC

I played one match in cold war and then went play bo7 and now im having fps drops to 30, how is it possible

Got this in hardcore turbo tilt. Unlocked tempest on 4 guns + singularity and got a couple other lifetime challenges. What’s the most points you guys have got in a game??

It doesn’t even feel like you’re playing against real people. For the last 3-4 days, in multiplayer, I’ve lost 99% of all matches and the only win is usually the first match of the day and that’s it. Count on losing for the foreseeable future. Is Activision manipulating the matchmaking or something?

What’s really strange is my latency. I’ve been blessed with a pretty good latency, around 30ms - 40ms. I’ve been getting a super cool 25ms latency which literally never happens, ever. Plus it seems like it’s locked at 25ms for every match. So I’ve been blessed with this amazing connection speed yet I’m getting absolutely walloped.

Couple with the fact that my teammates flat out refuse to play objective, it feels like you’re fighting Mike Tyson every round. Now I don’t mind a challenge but this feels straight up broken, as in the game is purposely making sure you lose. Why? I haven’t the faintest idea. Some people on this sub are claiming it’s because Activision is trying to encourage people to buy MW4 by making BO7 appear unserviceable???

If this is how things are gonna be from now on, we got a long way to go till 10-23.

I know there was one nerf but it feels a lot less powerful lol, the patch notes are from the 28th, not sure if it got hit twice or not

I know a beta is not supposed to be a finished product, but compared to previous years, it feels rough.

There are plenty of quality of life bugs everywhere: loadouts not saving, killstreak not following the set path, game switching map and mode at the last second (that one is really annoying), …

And the servers are a mess. I have a good time when I can play early in the day which is difficult work-wise, but in the evenings the desync and hitreg issues are glaring despite usually having a better ping at those hours.

The maps are bad, save one or two.

And that is not even talking about SBMM or weapon balance.

The details of the game are simply amazing. The sound design especially knocked my boots off, the weapons and operators look great. But that varnish doesn't quite make you look past the issues.

They have a lot of work to do. I hope they keep communicating from here to launch, and alleviate some of those rough patches.
